Cathleen Zupan is a May graduate of William Smith College, Greene, NY where she majored in Art History and European Studies. Cathleen is from Cazenovia, NY and came to learn about FrancisCorps through Dan and Cindy Accordino, one of our FrancisCorps support families. She studied abroad in Galway, Ireland where she participated in a public service program for Galway youth. She has also been a Catholic Charities volunteer in New Orleans. On campus, Cathleen was involved in several programs though the Admissions Office and she was also the captain of William Smith College Club Field Hockey team and a member of the Cross Country Team. She will be a Youth Mentor at the Northside CYO in Syracuse. “FrancisCorps will further shape who I am through a combination of discovery, religious service and volunteerism. I feel that this is a challenge that I am willing to take in order to grow as a person and with my relationship with God. The challenge of volunteering with the underserved and living simply in community will give me a positive outlook and realization of what is truly important in life.”
