Sarah King 22, traveled from Green Bay, WI to become a member of FrancisCorps. She is a 2009 graduate of St. May’s College, Notre Dame, IN where she majored in Religious Studies and Philosophy. While at St. Mary’s, Sarah was involved in Campus Ministry’s Praise and Worship services and also played the piccolo in the Notre Dame Marching Band. She studied abroad in Rome, Italy and also participated in as pilgrimage/service trip to Guadalupana, Mexico Sarah will serve as an Assistant at the Dorothy Day House, a short term shelter for women and children in Syracuse. “FrancisCorps will teach me about the person I am and the person I am to become, and above all, it will provide me with the opportunity to give all of myself to God and to the poor. I’m thrilled to see what God has in store!”
